Complexity-GAINs International Institute

The Complexity-GAINs International Institute offers a two-week immersion program in which students will learn about the cutting edge of unifying theory, case studies, and quantitative approaches being used to build foundations for addressing the most pressing problems at the frontiers of ecology and adjacent areas of inquiry. The program welcomes Ph.D. students from the physical, natural, and quantitative social sciences and mathematics and computer science. Prior experience with computational or mathematical modeling is not required. 

The program is conducted in English. Participants are expected to attend the entire two weeks of the program. Applicants are welcome from all countries. We believe that human diversity in all of its dimensions is essential to meaningful scientific progress and encourage all who are eligible to apply.

Program Dates: October 17 – 31 in Sète, France
